Born in Africa and educated in England and France, Didier travelled extensively as a child living in Africa, India, Canada and Hong Kong.

Before arriving to the U.S in 1996, Didier took a 2-year sabbatical to travel the world touring Southeast Asia, Australia and the Pacific Rim. He trekked Mount Everest and the Annapurnas, spent time with the Mentawi shamans in the Indonesian rain forests of Siberut, Sumatra and sailed across the Pacific on a 37ft Catamaran.

During that time he became an accomplished scuba diver and qualified Dive Master, volunteering for research on Whale Sharks in Australia and diving in many of the world‘s remotest sites.

An enthusiast of travel, photography & motorsports, Didier's focus is to capture that moment that defines an emotion, a mood and a truth that deeply resonates with him. He sees taking the photograph as merely the first step in creating his art.
